PIC/CoC Housing First Training, presented by Laila Bernstein. Laila Bernstein has committed her professional life to ending homelessness for more than 15 years, primarily serving in leadership positions in state and local government. She has held senior roles at the Massachusetts Interagency Council on Housing and Homelessness and the City of Boston's Mayor's Office of Housing, focused on housing strategies to end homelessness across populations. Since August 2023, she has been an independent consultant. Current projects include serving as housing coach for a Medicaid and housing partnership accelerator, drafting an update for Massachusetts' Olmstead plan, and serving as regional TA point of contact to several CoCs in Region 9, including the Oahu CoC.
